Parker Quink Black Fountain Pen Bottled Ink is simply one of my favorite inks. I use a lot of fountain pens from many different brands, and I haven't had a single pen fail to write beautifully with Quink. Initially, I became acquainted with Parker's Quink back in the 1980s when I was using ball-point pens in my work. I found the most reliable and nicest ink to write with was Quink. If I had a pen that used a Parker refill I never accepted knock-offs; it had to be Quink ink. It was also in the 1980s that I began using fountain pens, and using Quink was a natural progression from using it in my ball-points. From then up to today I slowly continued my journey into adding different fountain pens to my little collection, but I've always kept Parker Quink on hand, in one form or another. I do make use of a number of bottled fountain pen inks, but I will always make sure to have this ink in my supplies.
